On behalf of the Arab Endodontic Society and the Lebanese Society of Endodontology I am honored to invite you to the third Pan Arab Endodontic conference that will take place in Beirut, Lebanon, from 28th till 30th of November, 2013.

The theme is 'Striving for Excellence '. This theme has been chosen to contribute to delivering a world class creative showcase giving us all an opportunity to refresh and update our practice. It supports creative ideas that aspires us all to give our utmost best in pursuance of excellence in our profession.

Hilton Habtoor will be an ideal venue for the conference. It is located on a beautiful site commanding fine views of the Mediterranean; with a picturesque landscape of hills and mountains across the bay. It is ten minutes away from the historical city center of Beirut. This city has been continuously inhabited for more than 5,000 years, with civilizations, from the Canaanite to the Ottoman. Beirut was traditionally the focus of activity in a major regional capital, including: banking, business and commerce, government and parliament, education and culture, leisure. It is a city characterized by the symbiosis of culture and innovation.

I do not expect that it will be easy to find free time, but if you do, or better, if you stay for a few extra days before or after the meeting, you will be able to enjoy the numerous archeological sites and attractions in major cities. The Crusader Castle of Raymond de Saint-Gillesin Tripoli; The King Kiram temple in Tyre; the Fortress of Sidon; The oldest inhabited city in the world Byblos and of course Baalbeck's Temple, Lebanon's greatest Roman treasure.

It is a pleasure to welcome you all in Lebanon. We will work to make it a memorable and enjoyable experience which we hope will be scientifically and socially rewarding as well.

WELCOME TO BEIRUT!
